Each session booked reserves 1 lane for 45 minutes.
It costs £10 per lane.
The game is played on 1 lane of synthetic ice between 2 sides, of up to 2 people per side (4 people per lane). Only two lanes are available at any given time. You are free to swap people in and out as you wish.
Both lanes can be booked for large groups, however, each session must be booked individually.
You do not need any previous experience of curling or an understanding of how the game works to give it a try. Our staff will explain the rules and techniques before you start, showing you how and what to do to ensure you get the most out of your experience.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. There are no restrictions on minimum age, although we suggest that given the weight of the curling stones, the minimum age for a child is four.
The curling lanes are outside, so please ensure you dress appropriately for the British weather conditions!
Please arrive at least five minutes before your time slot to check in, as we would like you to enjoy the full length of your session. Your session may be cut short if you arrive late.
On arrival, please make yourself known to the bar staff next to the Curling Lanes in the Alpine Village, which you will find in the grounds of All Saints Church.
Please ensure that low-heeled enclosed footwear is worn to protect toes and prevent falls while curling (no open-toed shoes or high-heels please).
We reserve the right to cancel your game if anyone fails to follow the safety rules as stated on the signs by the curling lane and as directed by staff.
You may cancel or reschedule your booking up to 24 hours before your booking and will be issued a full refund. If you cancel your slot after this time, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
Multiple bookings are permitted. However, we may cancel bookings if we deem the number of bookings to be an unfair usage of the lanes. If we cancel your booking, we will contact you in advance, and you will get the opportunity to rebook at another time.
Should we need to cancel your booking at any time, a full refund will be given.
We do not permit food and drink onto the curling lanes. There are plenty of areas within the Alpine Village for you to enjoy refreshments before and after your game.
Smoking is not permitted whilst using the curling lanes.
By booking a slot, you accept the above terms and conditions.
